About Us

Established in 1999, Rabasotho Combined School was the first independent, co-educational school in Diepsloot, helping expand access to quality education in a community where established schools were limited.

From its beginnings, Rabasotho has remained committed to educating, empowering and inspiring learners to reach their full potential. Over the years, generations of learners have grown through our school, carrying forward the knowledge, skills and values gained at Rabasotho.

As a proud part of the Diepsloot community, we work together with learners, parents and the wider community to develop responsible, confident and capable young people who can make a positive contribution to society

At Rabasotho Combined School, we provide a well-rounded education that prepares learners for the opportunities and challenges of the future.

  • Academics — Building knowledge, critical thinking and a love for learning.
  • Sport — Developing teamwork, discipline, leadership and resilience.
  • Culture & Creativity — Encouraging talent, confidence, creativity and self-expression.
  • Digital Skills — Preparing learners with essential technology skills for the modern world.
  • Personal Development — Building character, responsibility, confidence and leadership.
  • Community Engagement — Working with parents and the community to support learner growth and success.

At Rabasotho, we celebrate academic success, learner development, leadership, sport, culture and personal growth. Our achievements reflect the dedication of our learners, educators, parents and community.

We encourage every learner to pursue excellence and reach their full potential, recognising that true success is not only about results, but also about growth, determination, character and making a positive contribution.

Our Mission: To be a school that consistently develops knowledgeable, confident, responsible and future-ready young people who are equipped to make a positive contribution to society.

Our Vision: To educate, Empower, Inspire, & to Prepare

Our Values: shape how we teach, learn, lead and work together, guiding every learner and member of staff toward responsible and meaningful success.

As we move forward, we remain committed to quality education, technology, holistic learner development and strong partnerships with parents and our community.

From our first learners in 1999 to the young people of today, our purpose remains the same: to educate, empower and inspire learners to reach their full potential and become confident, responsible leaders of tomorrow.
